17 Mar 2020 by Barbara McBride

Hello all,

Tulsa Community Foundation, who administers our Shine Employee Relief fund, is working with us on potential hardship applications due to the coronavirus. They have asked us to distribute the following communication:

- Employees in financial crisis (loss of income included) due to the Coronavirus epidemic, can apply to Tulsa Community Foundation for help in the Natural Disaster category from the Central States Manufacturing Shine Program. This charitable program is intended to be used only after all other resources are exhausted. Examples of help that can potentially be provided to those eligible include the following:
• Help paying for normal household bills (i.e. rent/mortgage, utilities, vehicle payment).
• Assistance to help meet immediate needs (i.e. fuel, food, clothing during pandemic) through Visa gift cards or other forms of financial assistance (as means are available).
• Assistance for medical expenses if there is a confirmed diagnosis of the COVID-19 infection

To apply for the program online, you can complete the application https://tulsacf.org/shine/. If unavailable, documentation can be submitted at a later time.
• Online application: https://tulsacf.org/shine/
• Email: emergency@tulsacf.org
• Phone: 918-591-2427
• Fax: 918-856-3537

Please note that this category of Shine is intended for those who are directly affected by the coronavirus. Please reach out to me or directly to TCF with any questions.
